Connecting to Nature Through Design

Part of our ethos at Robbins Architecture and Interiors is to center our designs on their natural surroundings, weaving indoor-outdoor connections from the initial sketch to the project’s completion. This is about meeting your home where it is, and fully capturing all that its landscape has to offer. How we do so depends on you. Perhaps it’s a modernist gem that practically floats on the shores of Lake Michigan (ELLE Decor, 2023). Or maybe it’s a Rocky Mountains retreat with a built-in outdoor grill and a great room leading straight to the golf course (Sunset, 2024).

We create warm, purposeful spaces that blur boundaries between outside and in. As the broad strokes of the design take shape, we carefully consider the details to ensure that nature takes center stage. Think: enticing courtyards, glass walls that maximize majestic views, living roofs, trellised overhangs, and more.

As a bird carefully weaves each thread of grass and twig to create its nest, we bring the same care and adoration for the surroundings into each design.
